My Story

Finding the Light Within

For most of my life, I was trapped in a cycle of addiction, using alcohol to mask the pain I couldn’t face. Every day felt like a struggle, and I often believed I was alone in this battle.

The real turning point didn’t come just from deciding to stop drinking. It came when I found a strong belief to hold onto—something bigger than myself. For me, that was Buddhism. This belief gave me the strength, clarity, and peace I needed to finally break free. Without it, I believe I would still be trapped.

Today, my life is filled with hope, meaning, and purpose. If you’re struggling, know you are not alone. Finding your own strong belief—whatever that may be—can be the light that guides you out of darkness and into recovery. Your story can change, and a new chapter is waiting.
